Melissa London, PhD

Melissa J. London, PhD, is an attending psychologist and clinic coordinator of the Drug and Alcohol Treatment clinic in the Addiction Recovery Treatment Services at the San Francisco VA Health Care System. Dr. London provides assessment and treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions that span the continuum of recovery, from early engagement to long-term recovery, with expertise in addressing trauma-related sequelae and identity based factors. She teaches and provides clinical supervision in conceptualization and implementation of treatment approaches for substance use disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and co-occurring mental health issues to trainees in psychology and psychiatry.
