2020 Wallerstein Lecture, Child and Adolescent Learning Symposium postponed

In response to the ongoing outbreak of COVID-19, the UCSF Department of Psychiatry is postponing several upcoming events, including the 15th Annual Robert S. Wallerstein Lecture in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and the 2nd Annual Child and Adolescent Learning Symposium. Both events will be rescheduled for a future date as soon as possible.

"Although we regret that this year's Wallerstein Lecture and Child and Adolescent Learning Symposium will be delayed, the health and safety of our guests and the community is our top priority," said event organizers. Their decision to postpone the events is consistent with UCSF's recently announced policy on large events and gatherings and the guidance of public health agencies, including the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the Alameda County Public Health Department, which emphasize the importance of social distancing as a risk mitigation strategy.

In addition, the Department of Psychiatry has suspended the following lectures series until further notice:
